If you are thinking about living here in Lake of the Woods, you are choosing a lovely, well-maintained place to live. The Lake of the Woods neighborhood is one of three separate and distinct neighborhoods. Lake of the Woods has very low annual home owner’s fees. The community abuts a wildlife preserve which has a walking path for getting close to nature.
The Lake of the Woods community is a neighborhood in the Lake of the Woods of Jacaranda Home Owners Association (LOWoJ). The LOWofJ is the master association which oversees all three neighborhoods.
Lake of the Woods was the first of the of neighborhoods to be built. The land developer at that time was Gulfstream Development Corporation. After building Lake of the Woods and starting construction of the Park Estates neighborhood Taylor Woodrow purchased the land and continued the neighborhood concept. Over the years there have been several builders, but strict architectural review has maintained both a unique and cohesive appearance.
