Park Estates is a small, deed-restricted enclave within the subdivision of Lake of the Woods of Jacaranda. It consists of 76 homes with no room for expansion. Beginning in 1993, with the newest home completed in 2006, the developer was careful to plan our community in such a way that most homes have a park-like preserve setting or a view of Lake Meredith. Also considering our oak trees, our developer plotted the homesites for maximum use of their beauty and shade. Over time, a number of different builders were used to ensure our homes were designed and built for uniqueness and not identical to each other. We continue to maintain our oak trees to ensure their beauty and their lives last as long as possible.
Park Estates is governed by the Lake of the Woods of Jacaranda but have a Board of Directors, to oversee the covenants pertaining particularly to Park Estates. Our Social/Sunshine Committee plan two neighborhood picnics, one in the Spring and one in the Fall of each year. Our Welcome Committee contact new residents offering information and making them feel as at home as possible in our community. The welcoming further extends to looking out for each other in spirit and property. Our size allows us to “get to know” our new neighbors and help them feel a part of the community as quickly as they desire. We covet our privacy and value our residents and the contributions they make to our community. Our demographics cover all areas of the country.
